Frontend dashboard for organizers
Just like the admins, event organizers also get detailed dashboards to manage the entire process. Here the organizer can access various menus, connect with its Twilion account and set customized notifications for their attendees for different purposes. Through the dashboard, the organizer can access and manage Twilio settings, Notification setting, SMS settings, Schedule SMS, SMS history and SMS template.
Twilio settings from the frontend
Event organnizers can connect their Twilio account with the SMS notification addon using their Twilio Account SID, Auth Token, and Twilio Phone Number. Organizers need to save their Twilio credentials to ensure seamless SMS functionality. All the Twilio settings made the organizer will be saved in the User meta table whereas their contact details are saved in Organizer form.
Notification Settings
This section is only available to the organizer when it is enabled by the admin. Here, the organizer can customize the message content used as notification for different purposes including event publishing, attendee registration, ticket purchases, registration cancelation etc. When the admin disable the option, organizers will only be able to view the messages and not edit them.
SMS Setting
Just like the admins, organizers can also control the SMS settings on the basis of group messaging, and event wise messaging. They can also share bulk messages after uploading attendee data through CSV files. Invite messages can also be personalized by the organizers.
Schedule SMS
Organizers can also choose the time for sending specific SMSes to recipients with the SMS scheduling feature. Reminder SMSes can also be scheduled on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis, once the scheduling data is inserted, it is saved in the database. This feature can only be accessed when you have the guest list addon.
Managing SMS History from frontend
Event organizers can easily track their message history using multiple filters like data-wise, event action- wise, delivery status wise and more. This makes it easy for them to find old messages and saves time.
Handling SMS Template from frontend
The SMS notification addon allows organizers to select their preferred SMS templates from the list of default templates and also create their own. Personalization is also possible with different placeholders like {name}, {date}, {event_name}.
Tracking SMS history from the backend
All the SMS notifications that are shared with the admins, organizers, and attendees are stored based on their roles and purpose. These SMS texts can be accessed easily using various filters including role-based, event-wise, date-wise, SMS delivery status wise and event action wise. This keeps a track of all types of messages and makes it easy for the admin to access them in the future.
Managing bulk SMSes through settings
The admin can use the “Send Quick SMS” feature to send messages in bulk based on his or her requirements. The admin can categorize bulk messages to send into group wise messaging, event wise messaging, organizer wise messages, and bulk messages to past attendees for invitation. Personalized SMSes can also be sent for invitations after uploading the CSV file containing all attendee data.
Twilio Settings for admins
Website admins can configure their Twilio account using their Twilio account SID, Auth Token and phone number from which they wish to send messages. An admin enjoys exclusive rights to determine which messages will be sent to organizers and attendees. Right from event submission and registration to ticket purchases and cancellation, the admin can customize each message as per their wish.
SMS templates
With WP Event Manager’s SMS notification, admins can select their preferred templates from the pre-defined once or create their own as per tastes. They can also use dynamic placeholders like {name}, {date}, {event_name} for personalization. Templates can easily be added edited or deleted SMS templates. How Do Licence Keys Work?

WP Event Manager is first of all super easy to use. I had it up and running in a matter of minutes. But it also has a lot of customization options. The field editor is really awesome! You can basically change/add/remove any field that you see on the back-end and front-end event submission forms. This allows you to build something tailored specifically for your event. The developers are very generous as the number of options in the free version of this plugin will surprise you. We’ve even noticed that users rave about the developer support for the free version of the plugin.
